If there's anything the ones close to me know, I love to eat! I wouldn't classify myself as a food snob, however I enjoy good food, whether it's in a 3 Michelin star restaurant or in a rustic, down the alley, hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Eating and finding great places to eat is one of my favorite things to do on vacation. Things that have changed somewhat since having a child. As you know, some Michelin-starred restaurants are not as welcoming to young children. They each have different rules. However, the places that I'm planning to introduce to you in Hong Kong are all kid friendly. Let's put it this way. My less than 1 year old at the time joined my husband and I on every excursion! Ahh, Wonder Park, a movie we've been looking forward to since the trailers have been out. Who doesn't love a good adventure? Roller coasters, the thrill and excitement. I absolutely love my amusement parks and have been going on roller coasters for as long as I can remember. Wonder Park is Paramount's latest release that debuts on DVD on Jun 18, 2019. Wonder Park presents an interesting combination of concepts that presents both fun along with learning points.

Having had the pups for close to 5 years, I've long wanted a car seat cover for my car. The pups shed fur all the time and my seats are covered in fur and dirt. It's worse when it's raining or snowing out and they track everything onto my leather seats. Yes, we were long over due for a seat cover. How do you choose a seat cover though? Driving with JR and BabyPom can sometimes be a challenge. Ho, what am I saying, it is ALWAYS a challenge. They're constantly jumping everywhere, in my lap, in the backseat, in my lap, down on the ground. Either way, it makes driving a dangerous situation for both the furbabies and me. Now, with the new laws passed, it is ever so important to have a way to keep all of us safe.

I just started to crochet over the holidays this past year and well, I started out with just 3 crochet hooks and one stitch holder that my mother kindly gave me. It works but at times, I wish I had more so that my projects could be more flexible. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do but it can always be stressful. How wary are you of pickpockets? The world is rampant with them but I am especially wary when traveling to Europe.
I was once traveling with my husband's elderly grandfather and he had his wallet lifted off of him on the metro at the very beginning of the trip. He was devastated. His excitement for the trip quickly dampened and now he had no spending money for the trip. It really ruined his mood for the rest of vacation. He held back from any purchases as he felt he already lost the money despite us offering to buy it for him.
The elegant and regal, perhaps not so evil, Maleficent arrives in homes November 4th. I absolutely love the story behind Maleficent, the untold story of how things truly happened. How Maleficent's pure heart was corrupted and became ever so black, yet held onto some of her pureness. How love can appear in all shapes, sizes and forms. The movie is a must-add addition to any Disney collector's movie library in conjunction with Sleeping Beauty, that's already in stores. While Maleficent is truly a magnificent movie, the bonus features aren't to be missed.
The last time I visited DisneyToon Studios, Planes: Fire and Rescue was already in production. However, that didn’t even begin to show the amount of work that goes into the making of these animated films. Disney Planes: Fire and Rescue was actually 5 years in the making. This kind of work requires passion and commitment to be able to dedicate yourselves to the project for so long as we heard from Bobs Gannaway (Director) and Ferrell Barron (Producer). Fashionistas, it's that time of the year again. This year has flown by fast! Who would've thought we'd be in October and merely days away from Fall Fashionista already. It's not often that I find myself laughing non-stop during interviews. It was very difficult to keep a straight face in the presence of Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner. They play Ben and Kelly respectively on Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. How do you suppose they ended in this movie? Steve and Jennifer were great in their roles and I think they portrayed it perfectly, which was echoed by Producer Lisa Henson.
Do you know any firefighters? They do an amazing amount of work that goes unnoticed and unreccognized. Did you know just in California itself, there are 5600 fires a year? In the US, there are 50 000 a year! That means day in and out, firefighters, aerial and ground, are working to protect civilians that they don't even know. We only ever hear about the big fires. In September, we had the opportunity to visit the Van Nuys Tanker Base in preparation for National Fire Prevention Week and to visit one of the sites where Disney did their research for Disney Planes: Fire and Rescue.
Wow, never in my life, would I think I'd be able to tour the Walt Disney Estate. This was the first home Walt built for him and his wife and where the family grew. It took 2 months and $50K. Today, it is a private home owned by a Russian film director and not open to the public. They were generous enough to open up their home for us to see in honor of the upcoming release of Sleeping Beauty October 7th since they are huge Disney fans themselves! We received a tour from Disney historian Paula Sigman Lowery, which means you also now get a glimpse of the magic we witnessed.
