I have to admit, parenting is a lot harder than I ever thought it would be. I never thought my maternity leave would revolve only around my adorable son. Yes, I knew there was the diapering, feeding, changing, loving and snuggling. However, I never thought it would take up my entire 24 hours. Despite all of this, I was determined to lose my pregnancy weight. I'm not quite there yet but it is coming off, slowly but surely. My sweet tooth certainly wasn't helping, so I was happy to get some help from Sans Sucre (French for "Sugar Free"). Curious how you can still enjoy your sweets with no sugar? Read on...

We often know and say what our #TruLoveIs. However, what about our pets? What do you suppose their True Love is? For JR, I long realized that she was a glutton and loved to eat. It didn't really hit me until I weighed her the other night and realized she is now 6lbs overweight, from being a mere 3lbs overweight! It doesn't sound like a lot but when you're only supposed to be 15lbs, 6 is almost 1/3 of it! BabyPom, on the other hand, loves the outdoors and running outside. Seeing all of this, it was time to go on an adventure and find more true loves for JR.

Typically I hate peeling things, period. Partly it's because the strips always get stuck, it takes forever, my peelers rust, etc. It drives me crazy! To be honest, it is why I very very rarely buy carrots. Slowly peeling things isn't my thing. The Deiss Julienne Peeler completely changed my mind, so much that I am going to teach you how to easily prepare butternut squash for any of your recipes. My mother has always wanted to try using butternut squash in her recipes but always held back because that tough shell was intimidating and tough. She had no clue what to do with it.

#Greenies...protecting your #dogs dental health

I can't deny it. My fur babies love Greenies. Honestly, when I hold one up, Baby Pom will automatically stand, spin 3 times on his own and expect his Greenies. LOL, but that's not what this post is about. I care about their dental health. Did you know that many dogs have terrible dental hygiene by the time they're 3 years old? I don't want that. I love my babies and although I don't brush their teeth on a daily basis, I do feed them Greenies every day...and they love it. Greenies have this addictive hold over my baby loves. They've learnt "Greenies" in their vocabulary now. When I say Greenies, they start running towards their treat drawer.Honestly, I don't know what it is but they love it. Oh, now they're nipping at me. I suppose they want to write their own post. ;)
