Rachel Ray Nutrish Ambassador
JR & BabyPom: *BOL!* Have you heard? We're Nutrish ambassadors. Mmhmm, we're pretty important pups. Last month, we were sent Rachel Ray Nutrish® Zero Grain™ formula to test out so we did our best to give a proper review. Here goes!

BabyPom: Zero Grain™ comes in the Turkey & Potato Recipe, which is made with simple, natural ingredients without grains, glutens or fillers so it's supposed to be great for my friends that have allergies. The number one ingredient is farm-raised turkey and there's no artificial preservatives, colors or flavors. Sounds good, doesn't it?

JR: Available in 6 ($11.99) and 14 lb ($22.98) bags, it looks like we may need the bigger ones since BabyPom can't seem to stop stuffing his face long enough to let mom take a picture. I knew this was the good stuff when the box first arrived. My nose can't be wrong.
Review of Rachel Ray Nutrish Zero Grain Dog food
JR & BabyPom: Turkey is great because it’s lean and easily digested. Beside turkey, there's turkey meal for essential amino acids, B vitamins, glucosamine and chondroitin to help us maintain lean muscle, joint health and healthy organs. We even get our carbs through whole Potatoes, Peas, and Tapioca. Beet bulp has fiber and natural prebiotics. Here's the breakdown of the ingredient analysis:
Min. 26.0% Crude Protein
Min. 14.0% Crude Fat
Max. 4.0% Crude Fiber
Max. 11.0% Moisture
Min. 1.5% Linoleic Acid
Min. 1.1% Calcium
Min. 0.9% Phosphorus
Min. 250 mg/kg Zinc
Min. 225 IU/kg Vitamin E
Min. 55 mg/kg* Ascorbic Acid
Min. 0.1%* Alpha-Linolenic Acid
*Not recognized as an essential nutrient by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles
BabyPom: Don't forget, we even get to keep our coats gorgeous with the whole flaxseed and poultry fat that naturally has Omega-6 and -3 fatty acids. The best thing is that it's suitable for dogs of all sizes so I don't have to worry about JR stealing my food because it's all the same!

JR & BabyPom: Mom likes looking at the caloric content of our food so we don't get overweight. For this, it's 313 kcal/cup. Delicious, natural, and nutritious, not to mention hypoallergenic so it's pretty good. Mom's only beef with it is that it doesn't reseal. It'd be better if it could zip-lock close again to keep things fresh. Tell us, does your furry friend have allergies? Don't forget to join us next time!

Paws out,
JR and Baby Pom
