I got into Pokemon Go about a week ago when my brother texts me from Canada asking if he can use my iTunes account to download the app since Pokemon Go came out earlier in the US. LOL! Surely enough, I found myself addicted along with the many players in the world. Are you playing it or know someone who is? This Pokemon Go phenomenon has hit fans of all ages, celebrities included, and has also lead to quite a bit of controversial injuries. The app is free with in-app purchases but before you head off to download the hottest game in the market, here are 10 Things You Need to Know about Pokemon Go!

As you know, charitable causes are near and dear to my heart and I do love supporting a good cause. JR was an adopted dog and she had made a world of difference in our lives. Adoption and rescue is some of what the ASPCA has done for many years; in fact, they've reached their 150th anniversary in April. In honour of this amazing feat of love and rescue, they have been celebrating with 150 Days of Rescue. 150 Days of Rescue is a nationwide action campaign that hopes to unite the country in making a difference in the lives of homeless and abused animals. Join in and make a difference in those that do not have a voice to cry for help.

Who ever said boots were not for summer was wrong! I personally love shoes..."a little too much" as my husband would say. Boots are just so versatile. I have my short booties that always look great with a work outfit or when you go out at night. Then there are the boots that I wear in the Spring or Fall to keep a bit warmer while matching my outfits. And of course, there are my winter boots that just rock! The norm...no boots in the summer, but it's time to break away from that with Coolway.

Can't help but fall in love with #TheBFG #Movies #Review #ad

Disclaimer: I attended a screening of The BFG. No other form of compensation was received. Opinions expressed belong to Whirlwind of Surprises and are NOT influenced in any way. I initially had mixed feelings before going to the screening of The BFG. Especially as it comes just a week or so after Finding Dory, which has been very much anticipated by many Disney Pixar fans, I couldn't decide whether I wanted to go based on the trailers I had seen and I wasn't sure if my husband wanted to go with me or not. Less than half an hour into the film, I realized that I was really glad I had decided to go to the screening. In fact, I was certain that my husband would regret not coming with me and that he would enjoy the film just as much as I would. The BFG is a MUST SEE because you really can't help but fall in love with The BFG and the beloved Roald Dahl story. Plus, it's directed by Steven Spielberg (see the clip for his thoughts on directing this film!).
