Wow, can you believe how fast time has gone by? Not long ago, I had never been to a conference. Fast forward 6 months and I had already attended 3 and becoming a seasoned pro! There is so much to be said about conferences and I've enjoyed myself fully at every single one. Funny how time has gone by so quickly. It's already the end of my 6 month journey with
Tria Laser. Of course, for you though, this may be my best post yet because besides finding out my final results,
you also get to enter to win a $395 Tria Laser of your own!
When I first received the Tria Laser, I was psyched! I have a ridiculously busy lifestyle. Keeping up with shaving was a bit of a pain. I know, I know, I don't have as much hair as some people I know but still, it took time, it took effort and razors cost a pretty penny. Not to mention the razor heads, which cost a chunk too, because I like the ones that come with the extra chunks so you don't need to buy/use shaving cream to save on time. Then I'd cut myself accidentally. It always happens! Maybe I'm just a natural klutz.
|
The beginning/Month 1 |
So I figured, with a laser, I could save myself so much money not only on shavers but also time since it'd take care of my hair for good. The final solution to getting rid of unwanted hair, right? Now that I think about it, I also have a friend who does go and get laser treatments at a salon. Who knows how much she pays for them? I know I've seen on Groupon that they're *on sale* for something like $199.
Anyways, my friend keeps going back because she's not sure if it's working so she continually goes back for treatments. My worry is the amount she's already put into it and she's not yet really seen permanent results. That's $$$$! $$$$ that I do not want to be spending!
That's why the Tria's been great. I do my own salon treatments on myself. I don't need to go anywhere and hey, so far, it's been working. I've seen a decrease in hair. It's not 100% gone like they suggest with 6 months of treatment, so I'll be continuing my maintenance treatment. However, there has been a noticeable change, an improvement. Take a look yourself.
|
Month 3 |
|
Month 4's treatment |
|
2-3 wks after Month 5's treatment |
|
1 wk after Month 6's treatment |
Each month, my hair's gotten more sparse and grows back slower. To me, that means it's working. Sure, I may need more than 6 months of treatment since results will vary from person to person. However, eventually, I feel I will attain the results I want. How about you?

I would love to try the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light.
I typically use either a razor or tweezers, but it can be so time consuming!
i would really love to win a Tria Laser... thanks for the chance to win one !!!
i use a razor on my legs and pits and wax strips for my 'lady' mustache. i have seen the tria laser on tv and i would love to have one.
i learned that tria is the only fda 'cleared' home laser hair remover and it is guaranteed to work.
I shave and wax (ouch!) and after waxing I still have to pluck! I hate it and would love to try this since there's no way I can afford laser treatments in a salon. Thanks for the great giveaway!!! hstorm799{at}gmail{dot}com
I learned that it's the first and only FDA-cleared laser available for at-home use.
the only thing that has worked for me is laser hair centers

Even though it is not completely gone at six months it is an improvement. I know of several people who have gone to have it done professionally and it still grows back after several treatments. I would rather do it my home!
I had no idea laser hair removal at home was possible using diode lasers that disable the hair follicle. (visited the Tria site)
thank you so much for the chance to win one... really appreciated your month by month posts and review
I use Walmart brand razors since I have found that they work best for me. I would love to not have to shave at all though. lol thank you!

i want the perfecting blue light to help with scarring!
I shave but my hair is so thick and course, waxing is a pain and time consuming. This sounds like it is right up my alley.

I'd love to try this..I feel like I spend an insane amount of time and money shaving as I've got pale skin and dark hair. I'd also like to try the skin perfecting blue light as it looks like a great product as well.
I just shave.
i usually shave. i did have laser hair removal treatments on my underarms and they worked great, although there is still a small amount of very light and fine hair

i learned that the new 4x can reduce the amount of hair in half the time

I usually shave, but it's hard to find a good razor. When I do, this method works okay for me, Still, I'd like to find a way that delivers long-lasting or permanent results because I am just generally annoyed by the time it takes to shave. Waxing...I've tried all the different methods...cold, hat, adhesive strips...PAIN! Creams...meh...okay, but time-consuming and smelly, so I may as well shave.
I shave and always get skin tags and cuts and razor burn. I apparently have forgotten how to shave lol. I want to try this so bad!

diode lasers disable the hair follicle by targeting the melanin at the root without damaging the surrounding skin
I usually use disposable razors
I shave my legs and underarms, and have my lip waxed at a nail salon.
i have tried expensive laser hair several times, did not work, tried electrolysis- did not like, wax-too hard on my skin, so now i just pluck, shave,

I shave but I'm getting tired of the hassle!
I use Nair and tweezing
I shave my legs, but I would love to try the Tria. It sounds like an amazing long term alternative to shaving.
the tria laser will not work unless you have the right skin type and color you have to unlock it first so you will not harm yourself
I learned that they are FDA cleared, which is really nice to hear.
Thanks for sharing your journey. I remember looking at the Tria when it first came out, but I just was not sure about it. I did my research and decided to wait since it was so pricey. I had almost forgotten about the Tria when I can across your view. It is obviously still pricey, but I at least feel confident that the product is right for me.
I commented on the "Private Practice is about to release their 6th and final season DVDs!" post.

The hair I really want to get rid of is plucked
Things have certainly changed. It is so time consuming to have to deal with unwanted hair. The Tria looks as if it is ideal for hair removal and it will lessen the time with great results.
Nothing I've tried is satisfactory: shaving, tweezing, creams... I am ready for Tia!
I really don't have too much hair to remove on my face. I may have a few hairs here and there, but I
just use a pair of tweezers.

I would like to try the Hair Removal Laser 4X.
marcsgirl61 at gmail dot com
Those results really do look great! And if it takes a little longer to get to silky smooth, that seems worth it to me. I'd also like the convenience factor of doing things on your own schedule in your own home, rather than making salon appointments.
I use a razor to remove unwanted hair.
I learned that this unit is the first one to be approved for in home use.
I really looks like this product has decreased hair growth for you.
