A #love affair with my new favorite #Trench #fashionistaevents #travel #fashion

 Scottevest
Even as I wrote this post, I was on my way to a press event. Too often, when I travel, I find myself frustrated over the lack of pockets in women's fashion. Whether I am traveling locally or flying, I am always fumbling and trying to fit everything in my carry on.

Most of you also know I have two furbabies, so that translates to one lost carry-on since they're in cabin pets. I am perpetually trying to make sure everything fits in that one bag, besides all my electronics.

I'm a techie and can't live without my laptop, iPad, cell, camera and chargers. That in itself is tough to manage when I go on press events and is even more troublesome when I have to carry a dog through airport security.

For that reason, I have fallen in love with Scottevest, the ultimate travel fashion item. My Scottevest Trench Coat has 18 pockets throughout the coat. It is by far the coolest jacket I own. There are pockets for a tablet, small camera, ID, cell pockets, and so much more.
travel jacket review
Having a glasses cloth on a string for the sunglasses pocket is epic and thoughtful. The strap that holds the water bottle in your pocket is attention to detail. A tiny pocket for your lip balm makes it easier to find.

I haven't even begun to mention the travel documents pocket, the magnetic and zippered pocket closures, and the weight support system.

My Trench coat has simplified life. I am able to store so much in my pockets that it makes traveling easy. I'll admit I was skeptical about the weight support system initially. However, after holding my jacket that weighed about 10lbs off, I slipped it on and felt absolutely nothing. I was able to walk around full days without feeling any pressure on my shoulders.
Best jackets for travelling
The one potential problem I had was the concern that I looked bulky with all my gadgets. However, every one kindly reassured me that although you can see something is obviously there, it does not look bulky. I should mention that it is a rather light jacket suitable for late Spring/Summer. You can definitely wear it when it's chilly out but I would recommend layering up underneath.

Overall, the Scottevest Trench is a great investment. It neatly hides and holds many of your personal items and electronics, while looking great. It's about time something was both functional and fashionable! I can't wait to use it when we fly next.

What do you think? I love it on me!
