Travelling made easy and fashionable with #Powerbag #fashionistaevents #travel #tech #Fashion

Lately, I am finding more and more items that are able to satisfy my techie geek side and my fashionista side. Uh, those words don't belong in the same sentence? They didn't before but they are now!

Meet the Powerbag! A thing of beauty that calls for attention, while being subtly cool. You can get it in the form of a backpack, roller, or shoulder bag. I opted for the Business class backpack (12.1" x 7.6" x 19.2", 3.1 lbs).

With the ability to charge up to four devices at once, this thing is a beast. My Powerbag comes with an USB port, micro-USB adapter, Apple iPod/iPad2/iPhone 3/4/4S compatible adapter, and a mini-USB adapter. In the adapters compartment are soft pockets to separate and hold your electronics while they charge.
super bag, charge tech devices on the go
It comes with a 6000mAh battery pack that you can charge separately or attached to the backpack. They made a cute little adapter plug-in hole for that as you can see from the pictures. A replacement battery will run you $49 for a 6000mAh and $39 for 3000mAh. I say go for the 6000mAh.

From what I understand, the business class backpack has the ability to lay your laptop compartment flat so that you don't have to pull it out at security. I haven't had the opportunity to test that yet. However, it consists of a compartment that unzips fully so that you have split the bag open 180 degrees. In other words, laptop bag (for laptops up to 15") part on one side, everything else on the other. I haven't decided whether or not to use this function yet because I see myself using that compartment. If I fill it full, there'd be no point in flipping everything out. It'd be easier to pull out the laptop. It is a great option for light packers though.
Convenient, fashionable bags for the travelling techie
The multiple compartments are fantastic in keeping my items organized. Each compartment is also softly padded to keep everything protected. I was able to charge my iPhone fully while I was on my way to a press event. It charged quickly and efficiently. You can check the battery life by pressing the external button and seeing how far it lights up. I loved the blue lights.

It's a bit heavy on the shoulders if you're walking the whole day though. Since I've received this bag, it's been with me to multiple press events and even several 2 day trips. It made for a great overnighter and back up charger as my tech items kept dying on me! Overall, my Business Class Powerbag does a wonderful job. It neatly puts together technology, fashion, and function.
