I got into Pokemon Go about a week ago when my brother texts me from Canada asking if he can use my iTunes account to download the app since Pokemon Go came out earlier in the US. LOL! How well do you sleep? Since my life revolves around shifts, my sleep schedule isn't always the best. However, that's especially why it's even important to make the most of the time that I do sleep. Sleep is where our body's heal, rejuvenate, consolidate memory, and on the most basic level, what is supposed to leave us well and refreshed for battling another day. Like everyone else, I have some better nights and some worse nights. The nights where the dogs need to be let out multiple times are one of those bad nights. What about you? Home safety is something that everyone worries about. When we travel or work, what happens at home? What if someone breaks in? Tech is a mainstay in my life. Believe it or not, my husband is far from techie. Haha, he barely even knows what a #hashtag is. The only smart watch he knew of was the Apple iWatch. Photography is always something I've loved. I enjoy taking pictures of the people I love. Perhaps it all started in my childhood when I remember seeing our family pictures. There was one in particular that I adored of my little brother. Actually, scratch that, all of his pictures were adorable. As I grew up, I enjoyed taking pictures of my friends and family. Before the digital age, I would love processing the film and seeing our memories etched onto pictures for future generations to come.

Music is a huge part of my life. It's what I use to pump me up, wake me up, and get me going. It's what soothes my soul and calms my emotions. I tend to be a minimalist when I travel. I try not to pack too much, in fact, I pack less than my husband. How many of you can say that? ;) It's probably something I've inherited from my parents, although I'm not nearly as good as them. When they travel, no matter how far or long they're going for, they pretty much stick to their 2 carry-on's each and they're good.

I've tested out a few pedometers in my day and I usually get sick of items once they become somewhat tedious...which is why I always have a hard time maintaining my New Year's resolutions. Every year, there's a couple that are at the top of the list. Every year, I fail. LOL, one of them is definitely fitness and weight loss. With the dogs, it helps a little since that guarantees several walks a day but I think I've found myself a little extra incentive.

While at BlogHer, I was exposed to a lot of great products. One of them being the Zamzee. It already sounds fun, doesn't it? It is an activity meter that not only measures your steps but also the intensity of activity via a three-axis accelerometer, when you have it on properly as I soon found out. Did I ever announce that I was going to #BlogHer12? Or did life just get too busy? LOL, anyways, with a big conference like BlogHer, I was worried about my tech gadgets! The last conference I went to, I juggled my laptop, my iPad, my iPhone, and a point and shoot camera. I had everything just in case the battery died on one of them. Well, even after charging everything during the night, something would still inevitably run out of batteries the next day. Then, there was also the problem of my iPad2. I love it but it's a little hard to type on the screen. I can do it but it's a lot slower than if I was on a regular sized keyboard. I decided to do something about it for BlogHer. After all, it is one of the biggest conferences for women bloggers out there!

We've all heard of Coupon Cabin, but have you heard of Coupon Cabin's app? I only recently learnt about it and being neck deep in loans, I could use all the savings I can get! So, the Coupon Cabin App touts itself as the "single coupon app that does it all". It supposed to replace 6 different coupon apps, although it doesn't say which 6. I'll be honest, I've never used a coupon app before so this will be my first experience and I have nothing to compare it to. The best part about it is that it is a FREE app that features gas prices, deals, coupon codes, grocery coupons, freebies, printables and more. It also has a nice pay it forward feature: Coupons for the Troops where you send in current or expired coupons for military families on bases all over the world to use. I find that kind of neat because they're able to even put expired coupons to use.
