Heading on an epic #adventure with Disney, Marvel, and DreamWorks for the #ThorDarkWorldEvent and #DeliveryManEvent
Okay, so if you're anything busy like me, I've had minimal time to get ready for some crazy fantastical, out-of-this-realm experiences. Remember I told you I was going on the #ThorDarkWorldEvent and #DeliveryManEvent from Nov 2-Nov 5 and would be walking the red carpet for the Thor Dark World Premiere? Well, things just got a hell of a lot more exciting, as if it wasn't exciting enough in the first place. Because guess what, we are now walking TWO red carpet events, one after the other. We'll also be walking the red carpet with Vince Vaughn, Cobie Smulders, and Chris Pratt. Yes, we are going to the Delivery Man premiere! Let me know if you have any questions for the Thor cast (Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander, Zachary Levi) and Delivery Man cast (Vince Vaughn, Cobie Smulders, Chris Pratt) and I'll try my best to ask.

So yes, that means this fashionista is in a bind. She works minimum 70 hours a week, so it's been hell trying to get ready for not just 1 red carpet premiere but now 2!
Tips for getting ready for red carpet events
Here are my tips for getting red carpet ready when your schedule is in a bind:
1) Check out your closet. Do you have anything that works? It doesn't have to be a whole outfit, do you have parts of a potential outfit? Most likely the answer to this is yes, whether it be a cocktail dress or jewelry/accessory pieces/shoes that you can add on.

2) Set a budget. Every girl loves a good shopping spree but what is your budget? There's a lot of great dresses out there and sample sale sites that will give you great bang for your buck if you really need to buy something. I shopped online because I had no time to go anywhere and founds some killer deals. The same goes for shoes.

3) Pre-trip Hair Care -My hair is thin and lacks volume. It's a perpetual problem. Unlike some of my lucky friends, I don't have time to go get it cut, colored, treated, etc. So, what have I been using? I've been fortunate enough to have been using Pureology Pure Volume for fine-color treated hair. This professional salon-level product been formulated with the latest technology to provide gorgeous volumizing results. Deeper cleansing to remove volume-inhibiting impurities with the shampoo combined with the replenishing properties of the conditioner without heavy moisturizers that can weigh down fine hair. The result...long-lasting volume.
Getting my hair red carpet ready
I love this combination because in the time I've started using it, my hair has looked healthier and I'm no longer a flat mess of hair. Pureology uses eucalyptus and wheat protein to lift the roots and thickens each strand, while locking in softness. It restores the strands and reduces tangling and breakage. This line also carries a Blow Dry Amplifier and Instant Levitation Mist for added volume when you're getting ready to go or traveling. I need to get my hands on a travel size so that I can bring it with me.

4) Pre-trip weight loss/work out plans -I love the gym but there hasn't been time to go. So what do you do? Make use of whatever you have available. Walk the stairs if they're available instead of taking the elevator. I've been taking stairs whenever I can and that even means if I go up 7-8 floors, I'll take the stairs because that might be all that I fit on that day.

My other secret weapon lately though is Bystrictin Advanced Hunger Control. I love my protein shakes and even more so, when they're able to help me lose weight. Bystrictin has a meal replacement formula that I can use up to twice a day. It contains a proprietary complex including BariaxinTM, that not only stimulates the release of the body's fullness hormone (CCK) but also rapidly expands up to 50 times in size after ingestion to promote fullness. It does a fantastic job of keeping me full and decreasing the amount I eat. I've never been a fan of chocolate shakes so taste-wise, it was only so-so for me. The vanilla flavor was a bit better. Both are rich and creamy since I always mix with milk and then to properly allow the particles to expand, you follow immediately with a glass of water.
does Bystrictin really work
Each tub lasts only 15 servings and has 3 g of fiber. While, it's done a great job of keeping me full and decreasing my daily caloric intake, I'm not sure how much weight loss I've experienced. I believe it's prevented me from gaining though and has been a great moderator on how much  I've eaten these last several weeks.

5) If you insist on wearing heels, try to break them in a bit first. Don't bring brand new shoes or you may be in a world of hurt before you even realize it.

6) Be comfortable no matter what you're in. That's key to any event. You don't want to be the one strutting the 6" heels and then falling in front of the paparazzi. You want to look good and be confident, a lot of that comes from being comfortable.  That way, you can enjoy yourself the most. Agreed?

Full outfit to come this weekend!
