#Disney Junior's Yo Ho, Let's Go Summer Event

Disney
Disney fans, have you heard? Disney Junior's "Yo Ho, Let's go Summer!" is coming back June 4-August 24th and of course, there's lots of fun activities planned! You can expect to see new episodes of all your favorite Disney Junior series all summer long. What shows will be airing? Only cable TV's #1 (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) and #2 (Jake and the Never Land Pirates) series among kids aged 2-5 and other favorites, including Jungle Junction and Octonauts. Watch on the Disney Channel, Disney Junior On Demand, Mobile and iTunes, and on DisneyJunior.com.

Here's a sneak peak into some of the new episodes you'll be seeing:
-June 29th (Jake and the Never Land Pirates): Marina and the mermaids make Izzy an honorary mermaid.
-July 6th (Jungle Junction): A special 45-minute episode where Zooter and Ellyvan care for a stranded baby FlaGoGo bird.
-July 13th (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse):Donald Duck serves babysits for a mystery egg.
-July 20th (Doc McStuffins): Glo-Bo, a six-handed toy monster, returns (Guest Star: Jim Belushi).
-August 10th (Jake and the Never Land Pirates): Red Jessica, a swashbuckling pirate gal, who wins over Captain Hook.
-August 17th (Doc McStuffins): Doc becomes the patient and her toy friends come to her rescue!

A sweet new supersite will also be launched from DisneyJunior.com and there'll be new online games each week. There'll be lots to keep your kids busy this summer with games, scrapbook fun and photo activities. Your photos may even gain stardom status because photos you submit may be featured on-air.

Don't miss it! Join Disney Junior's "Yo Ho, Let's Go Summer!" programming event Monday, June 4 with new "Jake and the Never Land Pirates" episodes starting at 8:30AM EST/PT on the Disney Channel or at 5:30PM EST/PT on the 24-hour Disney Junior channel.

Disney Junior has also released a couple of FREE new apps, that offer guaranteed interactive and educational fun for your children this summer. I have to admit, I love how they're free! You can grab them from the iTunes app store. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Road Rally Appisode that was just released, also happens to be the first in a series of interactive Disney Junior Appisodes to be released this year. Jake's Never Land Pirate School came out slightly earlier and is available for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. They both sound like quite a bit of fun.

The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Road Rally appisode for the iPad allows 2-7 year olds to touch, tap shake, swipe, drag and talk through an entire episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. That's pretty neat because this will encourage learning throughout the episode. Counting, critical thinking and problem solving skills will challenge their minds.

Jake's Never Land Pirate School app allows for lots of pirate-themed challenges including Sailing, Music, Flying, and Map and Spyglass classes. I'm sure they'd be psyched to have their own custom pirate certificate signed by Jake or better yet, put themselves into Pixie Dust flying class via a photo!

I love that they'll be adding new online games. I know so many kids who love to play games online now, even the little ones like my 4 year old nephew.
