#TravelTips 1000 Places to See Before You Die #Book #Review

travel tips
Do you travel? Or do you want to travel? One of my absolute favorite things and goals in life is to travel. I've been to many places but want to go to so many more! So, it is with great pleasure that I introduce to you this #1 New York Times Bestseller by Patricia Schultz, 1000 Places to See Before You Die.

The copy I received to review is the full-color second edition and being an owner of many books, I have to tell you, color is ALWAYS better! This book provides a travel guide with places to visit, reasons to visit and assorted contact numbers and the best timing to visit. It covers 28 new countries as compared to the previous version and is 200 pages longer. I have to admit, it's a heavy book! So download this iPad App instead if you want to bring it with you on your journeys.

Here's a sample of the book in regards to Egypt:
The funny thing is, the first thing I did when I got the book was look up the places I've been to and see if they were in the book. Check. Yes. Check. Then, when the SO got home, I excitedly told him the book and he goes, "Check if the places we went to are in there." So, we are currently in the process of checking off places we have been to and noting places we'd like to go. Remember, I said I was going to make a post on some of the Foodie places I've been to?? Some of them are in here!! Yay, check! So, you'll have to come back and read those posts.

The book is nicely organized by country and continent. The cities, unfortunately, are not alphabetically labelled and I think I would've preferred it that way. Thankfully, there's a table of contents and an index at the end for you to search things up. I also enjoyed the pictures they put into some of the vacation destinations as it gives you a colored glimpse into a possible adventure. They also list the approximate prices of meals, hotels, and so on so it allows you to budget your trip. Overall, quite the interesting book and it really sets up travel goals for us in the future. How many places will I reach? Tell me about your travels? Where's the furthest you've travelled? Where would you like to go? It's time for an adventure!
