Adorable Holiday @AflacDuck helps Pediatric Cancer #AflacKids #holidaygiftguide @SheSpeaksUp

Christmas Gift Ideas 2012
You know you love to buy gifts that give back. How about 100% back? To kids with the strength and hearts of warriors...Aflac and Macy's has teamed up this holiday season to bring you the Alfac holiday duck, created by pediatric leukemia patient, Monica. 100% of the proceeds from the purchase of this limited edition plush duck goes towards cancer treatment and research for kids.
2012 Aflac holiday duck
Monica Sandoval, the designer of the 2012 Aflac Holiday Duck, is a 16 year old battling leukemia for 4 years. I personally have not met Monica, but I have had countless encounters with many children, sometimes younger, sometimes older, who have leukemia or other types of childhood cancer. Each and everyone is a brave soul, a warrior. The emotional, physical, and mental challenges each child goes through as they first become diagnosed, treated, and hopefully fight the condition into remittance is no small task.
It's difficult even for adults to come to terms with cancer. For kids, this is a scary issue. So, if you can, purchase one of these adorable Aflac holiday ducks this holiday season. They're super cute and only $10 for a 6" tall duck, $15 for a 10" tall duck. Every single dollar you spend on these ducks is going towards a hospital in your local area.

The Aflac Holiday Duck even has a voice box. My duck says, "Aflac, Aflac, Aaaa-fllaac!" It makes for a hilarious weapon to chase JR around with.
Until you make your purchase though, go ahead and hit that retweet button on any of the tweets in this post. All if you can...It's quick and easy and the best thing is, each tweet that has the #AflacKids in it results in $2 being donated directly to pediatric cancer research. A mere 50 RT's already raises $100 and it's as easy as a click! Let's brighten the future of these kids.
If you went through and clicked RT on every single tweet in this post, you have helped to raise $12 already. If we can get 100 people here to RT all of these, that's already $1200. Get your family and friends over here to help RT. Don't forget, you can also purchase the 2012 Aflac Holiday Duck as a great gift and teach the recipient how this purchase will go towards bettering the lives of other children.

What a cute little duck designed by a 16 yr. old battling leukemia. Its is hard for anyone young or old battling this horrible illness. How thoughtful. Its great that all the proceeds go to cancer treatment and research for kids. Limited edition so we better hurry to get one for ourselves.
