World Vision -Christmas Gifts that Give Back US 12/15 #holidaygiftguide

Christmas Gift Ideas 2012
Did you know almost 60% of Americans say they'll donate between Thanksgiving and Christmas? Are you one of them?World Vision's Gift Catalog is back this year with all sorts of unique goodies. When you commit to donating to World Vision, you could be helping to provide education, food, livestock and more. In exchange, World Vision will send you a gift for your kindness that consists of handmade items from Nairobi, Thailand and more.
Gifts that give back
For example, a $25+ donation to the Maximum Impact Fund allows help to be sent to the most needed areas. At the same time, you'd receive an adorable plush toy of either Gertie Goat, Chuma Chick, or Pallu Pig. These 3 plush toys represent farm animals donated to children and families around the world and provide a steady supply of nutritious food and the surplus can be sold for extra income.

It's fairly obvious that it's a win-win situation for all those involved. Donate and change a life for the better, get great custom gifts, and contribute towards your tax deduction totals.

$33 million was raised last year and it went towards helping more than 825 000 people throughout the world. Can we do better this year with more meaningful gifts? If you'd like to do more, this year is the first time World Vision has created a personal My Gift Guide page that allows you to create a personalized fundraising page.

THanks for letting us know about this. We give the most during the holiday season, so I can add this to our list.

I like that you can buy animals to help a family start a business, or you can donate money to help get a girl out of sexual exploitation, or you can buy supplies to help get clean drinking water, ect. There are so many different ways you can donate to make a difference!
