DreamWorks Spooky Stories (MRSP $19.99) is a compilation of Halloween stories featuring characters from Shrek and Monsters vs. Aliens. Shrek, Donkey, Puss and B.O.B. will be in 6 spooky short films. 2 of which include the newly created shorts Shrek: The Pig Who Cried Wolf and Monsters vs. Aliens: Night of the Living Carrots. Scared Shrekless, Monsters vs. Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space, The Ghost of Lord Farquaad and a parody of Michael Jackson’s Thriller are the other four shorts.
I wouldn't really say it was scary, okay, maybe a little but it's more on the funny and cute side. And who doesn't know Michael Jackson's "Thriller"? It's such a classic song and music video. We couldn't stop laughing at the Shrek parody. My nephews are going to love these Spooky Stories. It'll keep them fully and happily entertained for a good 90 minutes. Get into the Halloween Spirit with Shrek and friends!
