#Powercoco refreshes the day! #CBias

Power Coco
So, I had quite the eventful day today! A Madagascar 3 screening that had me singing, "Afrocircus, Afrocircus...polkadot afro!" until now, actually. I'm sure I'll continue to sing it all night and weekend. LOL. Anyhow, I expended quite a bit of energy and totally needed to replenish myself. Being a super fan of coconut juice, I had a craving! I wanted to try out this new Natural Sports Drink that only very recently hit NYC markets. It's called Power Coco and is made from coconut water. They claim to be natural hydration and I wanted to try it.
Times SquareDuane Reade
Luckily, I was in Times Square and you know, there's a Duane Reade or maybe several of them on every block! Easy enough since Duane Reade is now one of the stores that carry #PowerCoco. Of course, being Times Square, it's also really busy but I had fun!
Power Coco
There were 3 of the 4 flavors available at this particular Duane Reade, Tangerine, Tropical Berry and Grape. They were only missing Lemon-Lime, which was fine with me because I always get the Grape Sports drinks. Don't know why, but I do. Let me tell you something, there's nothing better than a cold drink on a hot summer's day. It surprisingly didn't taste very much like the coconut juice I was fond of but in comparison to the other sports drinks I do drink, it's comparable. So, it tastes decent but unlike the others, this is all natural! I found the fact that they used cane sugar instead of artificial sweeteners refreshing. This could actually be stuff I'd drink after a round of 18 on the course or after an intense tennis match against the SO. LOL! I think he'd like it too. The best thing about it? It's only 25 calories! It's not 0 calories but hey, it's using natural sweeteners and not artificial sweeteners. And the natural coconut water is low in calories but high in electrolytes, which is awesome for after a workout! What do you think? Is this something you'd drink?
