BlogPaws is a pet blogging and social media conference. You don't even have to be a pet owner to attend and of course, if you are a pet owner, they are pet friendly! (I am thoroughly impressed at how they'll have indoor and outdoor enclosed areas for your pets and professional pet sitters to watch over your fluff balls. FREE!) The 4th Annual BlogPaws is to take place Jun 21-23 in Salt Lake City. You can still register for the event.
What does an Attendee Repawter do?
My job is to repawt from the event connecting those who are at the event and those who couldn't make it. I'll be sharing on facebook through both Blogpaws and my page, twitter with the #BlogPawsQuotes hashtag, and on Pinterest in my board and Blogpaws. Join in the conversation, even if you can't attend. If you are attending, make sure you come and find me so I can meet you, get your thoughts on the conference, grab a pic of you, your pet, or flat pet, (Teehee, I only learnt what a flat pet was a week ago!), or take a quick video testimonial of you and your furball. I'll turn you into an internet sensation. LOL, jks. I can try, haha... I can already tell it's going to be a ton of fun so let's share it with those who couldn't make it this year.
I am so ridiculously excited that they asked me to go. I have a million thoughts running through my head right now. I had been entering all sorts of giveaways to try to save on costs and make it to the conference for the past several months now and had almost given up on the idea when the BlogPaws team contacted me a couple weeks ago. I'm definitely a dog person, having 2 of my own. They can tell you how much this mommy spoils and pampers them! I'm going to throw this out there now, I love animals so if I approach you and your pets, haha, I'm friendly and not really trying to be a creep. Well, and of course, I'd love to get your two cents about the conference too!
I'm looking forward to the brand networking, the sessions, and meeting everyone! For example, I made sure my flight was early enough so that I could make the video session with Kenn Bell, Creator/Executive Producer of the website and video series, Dog Files and the Animal Planet Special, "Hero Dogs of 9/11". There are so many sessions I'm looking forward to attending and learning from. I'm also having troubles deciding which sessions to go to because I want to attend them all! And...thanks to a certain cheesecake picture that was tweeted out earlier in the #Blogpaws tweets, I am eagerly awaiting my piece of cheesecake. Haha, and I will not be sharing that with anyone!! Mine! See, I told you I was everywhere.
Well, between JR and Baby Pom, JR is definitely more behaved and technically more suitable to be brought. Ha...but she's shy, really shy and I'm more worried about her being stressed so that means Baby Pom is going to come with me! He's incredibly friendly...just look for the dorky looking Pom that's always clamoring for attention. I sadly have to leave JR in her grandpa's care.
Well, I've talked lots. Let's chat more in a week! Remember to join us and follow #BlogPawsQuotes. Are you coming? What are you most excited for? Let me know in a comment below. Baby Pom and I can't wait to meet you for this pawsome event! Questions? Ask away!
Before I forget, let's kick this celebration off with a giveaway. Enter to win a plush pet bed for your pet (up to 100lbs) until 06/27, US only.
