Many of you are Vince Vaughn fans. I've always found his movies funny to watch. Can you guess what's coming up? Yes, it's my Vince Vaughn interview! I'm one lucky blogger to have met Vince for the second time now. The first was when I visited the Delivery Man set in New York and watched Vince and Cobie film one of their scenes. I had the opportunity then to interview Vince Vaughn, Cobie Smulders, and Ken Scott.

There was so much more I learnt this time that I'm excited to share with you. As any New Yorker knows, drivers are crazy in the city (aka Manhattan). People honk, they cut you off without signaling, and you're lucky if they yielded to you as you crossed the street. Well, imagine driving with a meat delivery truck instead of a car. The craziness multiplies! Vince found it hard and intimidating to drive but it's definitely easier when they close off the streets for him.

Interestingly, Vince's 2nd child was conceived during the filming. Anyone think that the 533 kids may have been a stimulus? Vince says it was only because he was ready. You see, Vince comes from a close family so he waited until he was older when he wanted to be a parent. Essentially, he was waiting for the right time.

Vince chose to become a part of Delivery Man because it was an "unique story". It "starts with concept of accepting yourself. Nowadays, a movie can be just a comedy or drama but the unique thing Ken has is all of these things in one movie."

On filming with his co-stars, Chris Pratt and Cobie Smulders, the ever joking Vince said, "I hate those guys!" Really what he had with them though was a captive audience to show his new daughter since they were all new parents. Further, it was fun to be making the movie with people in a similar life stage as he was.

Vince said something that really resonated with me: It's an "empty thing to chase in life if you're chasing something outside yourself, you want to find something that you're passionate about." He was referring to having a passion for what you do. If you chase after wealth and fame, there's no real fulfillment from that, only false sense of successfulness. Rather, he preferred the pressure to try hard and get results, to improve oneself.

I have to wonder if Vince saw my last question coming. I was curious as to whether having 533, and now 534, kids in in the movie may have influenced his decision to have more kids. His reply went along the lines of there being a lot falling on his wife when she's breastfeeding and she had said, "You cannot bring that up to me anymore." However, he did end up saying that they will kind of see what happens. He's thankful for the two kids that he has and if a 3rd one came along, he'd be thrilled.

Catch all his kids in the theater Nov 22nd.
