Cobie Smulders & Chris Pratt Q&A from #DeliveryManMovie #DeliveryManEvent

Disclaimer: I was invited to a Disney/Marvel/DreamWorks #ThorDarkWorldEvent, #DeliveryManEvent, and #DisneyPlanesBloggers press trip. No other form of compensation was received. I was lucky enough to have an interview with Vince Vaughn again but I never thought that I'd be lucky enough to interview Cobie Smulders (Emma, David's pregnant girlfriend) again too. This time though, there was a new guest in the form of Chris Pratt who plays David's best friend/lawyer in Delivery Man, Brett.

It was fun watching the dynamics between Cobie and Chris. Even more amazing was that Chris' wife, Anna Farris was apologizing to us for making her husband late. Chris' son was also born while doing this movie and was 2 months old at the time, so he had found it harder to relate since his character had 4 kids.

For his role, he had to gain weight so we asked if he had a certain strategy because prior to that, he was crash dieting and starving himself to lose weight for his previous movie. Chris "applied all the principles of losing weight and reversed them." It was a good time since his wife was in her 3rd trimester then so a good 20lbs of it was "sympathy weight" but he put on 70lbs in about 7-8 months.

On working with Vince, Chris responds that Vince is "beloved by people because he seems real, a regular guy, and not some Hollywood A-hole." Cobie said Vince is "everything you expect him to be. He's supportive, charming, and goes out of his way to put everyone at ease on the set."

Cobie's favorite place to film while in NYC was Brooklyn, specifically Carroll Gardens and Park Slope. There were a lot of other outdoor scenes in Brooklyn.

Last but not least, I'll address everyone's curiosity about both Chris and Cobie's roles in the Marvel Universe. As you know, Chris is a part of the 2014 Guardians of the Galaxy and Cobie who we already know as Agent Maria Hill from the Avengers.

On Guardians of the Galaxy, Chris described it as a "rocking space opera type story, an ensemble that takes place in space." Then he goes, "I'm not allowed to say anything about it but I just got a text from director who has just finished the first week of editing." LOL!

Cobie is also excited to be in the "amazing world of Marvel" because it's supported by such great fans. Chris chimes in here and says, "Ditto." We can look forward to seeing Cobie again in Avengers 2.

For now though, check out Cobie and Chris in Delivery Man, a family friendly comedy!
