Does OraMD really chase away bad breath? #health

I'm always up for trying new items for breath maintenance. Well, it's a hygiene thing and also because I have chronic sinusitis so it sometimes gets bad. Worst part is that I don't notice it. OraMD is a 100% natural and pure liquid toothpaste, mouthwash and breath freshener in one. They also say that it has ingredients to kill the 22 harmful bacteria that lead to gum disease and other oral health problems. All you need is 2-5 drops each time.
long lasting fresh breath
I decided to put it to the taste. I first tried out OraMD regular ($22.97 each or 3 for $45.94), which contains 100% Natural Almond, Spearmint and Peppermint Oils. I used 5 drops on my toothbrush. Not surprisingly, it doesn't foam but instead gives you that crisp burn of spearmint in your mouth, tingly and such. My tongue found the sensation a little awkward and screaming, "Idiot, why didn't you start with 2 drops." Hey, I wanted to see if it worked so I'm going to test it properly.

They say it's safe for everyone to use ages 3 and up and do warn that it may be harder to get used to for the first 3-7 times. That reminds me, it has a bit of a bitter flavor to it.

They recommend a 4 step Daily Oral Hygiene Program which consists of:
1) Brush twice a day in the morning and evening using 2-5 drops of OraMD on a toothbrush and brush normally.
2) Floss every evening after brushing – more frequently as needed. Get any food particles out from between teeth.
3) Use OraMD as mouthwash twice a day: morning and evening. Just put 2-5 drops into an ounce of water, swish and gargle. Put 1-3 drops on the tip of the tongue to coat the gum line and teeth to kill bacteria” to “put 1-3 drops on the tip of the tongue to coat the gum line, teeth and mouth.
4) Mid-morning, mid-afternoon and as needed: put 1-3 drops on the tip of the tongue to coat the gum line and teeth to kill bacteria and keep breath fresh. Care Instructions: Avoid Eye Contact, Do not swallow, Do not use while pregnant or breastfeeding.
When you do that and use 2 drops each time, a bottle should last a month. Surprising right, because it's such a tiny 15ml bottle. The drops come out fairly quick too so you have to tilt it slowly.

OraMD extra strength ($39.97 each or 3 for $79.94) is quite similar except, it is the most powerful formula. Duh, extra strength! So it gives faster results, while being more aggressive at killing bacteria. It's more recommended to those with more serious conditions like advanced Gum Disease, periodontitis, loose teeth, and so on. I stuck with two drops this time!

Overall, simple to use and it does give longer lasting fresh breath than regular toothpaste. Worth a try since it combines your toothpaste, mouthwash, and breath freshener all in one compact size.
