Coca Cola pays it forward in 2013! US 1/23 #CocaColaPIF #spon

My Coke Rewards Pay It Forward #CokePIF
Last year, WOS and our fans had a great time paying it forward and doing some good for the community. Let's start of the new year with the same attitude! Coca-Cola has started their second annual “Pay It Forward” program through My Coke Rewards and they'd love to hear about a young person that you would nominate and why. Nominate a youth aged 16-21 as of May 01, 2013 from now through March 2, 2013 to win 1 of 4 apprenticeship experiences under a celebrity history maker (business mogul Magic Johnson; chairman and CEO of BET Networks, Debra Lee; or hip hop artist and philanthropist, Common). Coca-Cola’s “Pay It Forward” program allows parents, relatives, mentors, friends and the community to support aspiring young people achieve their dreams. Having a hard time choosing just one? Well, you can nominate up to 5 youngsters and they can also nominate themselves. With each nomination, you are entered to win $5000 for yourself.
As for me, I've run into so many deserving youngsters during my time in a Pediatrics Hematology and Oncology Department. Some of you may remember my writings about it. Too often have I seen these young kids thrown down by their conditions and their fight to regain confidence, health and happiness. Each and every one of these warriors all deserve to be nominated. As such, I always pay it forward by bringing them little treats and gifts, sometimes with thanks to some of WOS' sponsors. It means the world to me to be able to bring a smile onto their faces.

Enter on the Giveaway Tools form below from Jan 8 10PM EST to Jan 23 11:59PM EST. Open to US, 16+. Good luck! I honestly don't think I know anyone in that age range, so I'd have to think hard on this one. I do think it's a great idea though!

This is such a neat concept! Unfortunately, I do not know any kids in that age group, but will definitely keep it in the back of my mind!

I would like to nominate my daughter, she will be 18 in Feburary and grauating this year. I believe this would be a great opportunity for her. Especially at a time when even finding a job seems so difficult. She is a very strong young lady and has been there to help me with my Cancer fight. This would be a true blessing and brings tears to my eyes if she were to get such an opportunity. Thank you for letting me put her in the running in this nomination.
