Coca Cola pays it forward in 2013! US 1/23 #CocaColaPIF #spon

Last year, WOS and our fans had a great time paying it forward and doing some good for the community. Let's start of the new year with the same attitude! Coca-Cola has started their second annual “Pay It Forward” program through My Coke Rewards and they'd love to hear about a young person that you would nominate and why. Nominate a youth aged 16-21 as of May 01, 2013 from now through March 2, 2013 to win 1 of 4 apprenticeship experiences under a celebrity history maker (business mogul Magic Johnson; chairman and CEO of BET Networks, Debra Lee; or hip hop artist and philanthropist, Common). Coca-Cola’s “Pay It Forward” program allows parents, relatives, mentors, friends and the community to support aspiring young people achieve their dreams. Having a hard time choosing just one? Well, you can nominate up to 5 youngsters and they can also nominate themselves. With each nomination, you are entered to win $5000 for yourself.

Have you been following the Olympics? Well, have I ever got a treat for you. If you're a My Coke Rewards member, you could win a Field Day at your child's school with the hosted by Track and Field Olympian David Oliver! Part of the U.S. Olympic Hurdling team, David Oliver is going to be part of one lucky US school's field day event. It almost makes me wish I was there! There'll be events including egg tosses and sack races to keep the whole family moving the full day! There'll be one grand prize winner but also 5 runner-up schools that'll receive an "On-the-Go with D.O." prize packs to help to promote physical activity year round.

It's summer time and people are travelling, enjoying their family time. How are you making it your #SummertoRemember though? Are you planning to make your garden blossom, take your family to the beach, organize family gatherings, or all of these and more? As for me, I've always loved road trips. It was kind of the hallmark of every summer vacation.
