Oh man, I remember the good old days when we watched several in a row during our Girl Guide days. I told the SO that the other night and he said, "Geek!" LOL, oh well, a classic like this is coming back. You may have heard recently that Disney has acquired Lucasfilm but here's more exciting news...J.J. Abrams will be directing Star Wars: Episode VII!

Star Wars: Episode VII will the first of a new series of Star Wars movies to come from Lucasfilm under Kathleen Kennedy's leadership. Academy Award-winning writer Michael Arndt will write the screenplay.

Fans of George Lucas don't have to worry as he has full faith in J.J. Abrams' ability to continue the legacy.
“I’ve consistently been impressed with J.J. as a filmmaker and storyteller. He’s an ideal choice to direct the new Star Wars film and the legacy couldn’t be in better hands.”
Still worried? Don't be...since Lawrence Kasdan, the screenwriter of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, will be serving as a consultant. Either way, fans of the Star Wars legacy are sure to be glad to hear the news! After all, the legacy continues!
