The joys of living in #NewYorkCity #LoveThisCity #CBias #NYC #Travel

It hasn't even been 3 years since I started living in New York City. I have yet to experience all the famed sights, restaurants, and activities...but I already #LoveThisCity! Let me share with you some of my favorite places to check out when you're in NYC. I still have so many more places to see and could go on forever so let's keep it to my top ones for now. First up, since Christmas is around the corner, let's check out Rockefeller and the infamous Christmas tree!
Rockefeller Center, Christmas tree
You know, this was actually the first year I've seen it and it really is as beautiful as they say. Adorned with two rows of elegant angels, it attracts quite a few tourists and locals alike. Of course, there's always a ton of people enjoying the local rink. Other places around here of note include the Lego store, which always has some pretty cool displays.
Central Park
Within walking distance of Rockefeller Center is another gorgeously FREE experience, regardless of season. During the summer, it's a beautiful park to walk in, whether it be by yourself, your loved ones, or the furry companions. It's a nice, quiet, and natural retreat from the bustling city noises. Even on a wintery, gloomy day (yes, it was raining), it was still strikingly beautiful. The mist over the lake just captures your attention. The straight path you see on the bottom right picture is a place where they love to film movies in Central Park. Speaking of Central Park, FAO Schwartz is really close by too. Priceless New York currently has a complimentary 45 minute guided tour of FAO Schwartz for MasterCard holders and up to 4 additional guests.
Shake Shack, Flatiron Building
Here's another building they love filming for romantic movies, you know, when the lovers split ways. The Flatiron Building is close to Union Square and Shake Shake which is kind of like an outdoor burger joint. There's even a seating area where you can enjoy wine and beer! It's best to go during the summer when you've got the warm sunlight shining on your face.
Grand Central Station
Ah, the iconic Grand Central Station, we definitely can't leave this one out, right? The beautiful architecture of this building, inside and out mesmerizes me. That's not all though. Inside, there's a little transportation museum that has a full model of the station itself. Neat, right? There's also the newly opened Apple Store on the second floor and a special architectural area where you can whisper in one corner and have someone hear you in the opposite corner.
Times Square
Times Square is a sight anyone would recognize, day or night. A world-renowned symbol of the Big Apple, this area shines especially at night lit up with glitz and glamor! Nearby is the New York Public Library that was beautifully lit with individual candles when I happened to chance by a while back.
Brooklyn Heights Promenade for great NYC night time skyline view
Ready to head out of Manhattan for a view of the Manhattan Skyline? Head to Brooklyn Heights Promenade and you'll find yourself with a gorgeous view! My favorite though, is a familiar scene in Brooklyn, the Verrazano bridge. There's a walkway along the Belt Parkway that allows you to enjoy breath taking views, take in the fresh air, and relax yourself. It tops my list easily for sure and is a frequent spot we visit!
Verrazano bridge
These places are just priceless. The majority of these New York City attractions are free to see and yet, they leave such a vivid impression on you. For more timeless, priceless experiences though, Mastercard actually has special New York City travel offers just for their card holders so that you can enjoy the local culture and have that insider adventurer experience!

Oh girl: Look how beautiful it is this time of year. I love the pictures. I have never been in the winter. I went to Blogher in the summer and it was my first trip and I loved NYC so much. I will be back. I didn't have enough time to see everything. So gorgeous and I felt safe the whole time I was there.
