5 Tips for a healthier, fitter you #BackPain #Weightloss #fitness #GotYourBack #NYC

Last week, I attended a press event at Peterson Chiropractic's newer location in the Financial District (150 Broadway, Suite 1800, NY, NY 10038). I suffer from lower and upper back pain and was eager to learn more. However, what I ended learning was more than I ever expected and I've come back with some pretty awesome information and tips that'll help you feel better!

The joys of living in #NewYorkCity #LoveThisCity #CBias #NYC #Travel

It hasn't even been 3 years since I started living in New York City. I have yet to experience all the famed sights, restaurants, and activities...but I already #LoveThisCity! Let me share with you some of my favorite places to check out when you're in NYC. I still have so many more places to see and could go on forever so let's keep it to my top ones for now. First up, since Christmas is around the corner, let's check out Rockefeller and the infamous Christmas tree!

Inside the #LionKingExhibit #DeliveryManMovie #WordlessWednesday

It's Wednesday! How would you like a sneak peak into Disney's Inside the Lion King Exhibit, that's currently free of admission and open to the public until Dec 16th. I had the pleasure of checking it out this past Sunday night with an awesome group of people before Monday's #DeliveryManMovie set visit.

#Travel: The City Sights of #NYC #Tourism

Big Apple
New York City...the Big Apple is such a big place to see. So much to do in so little time. In the 2+ years that I've lived here, my life has been so busy that I haven't even been a tourist yet. My family has visited and seen more than I have. If you're ever here and you're looking for a tour to go on, I would recommend checking out CitySights NY. They feature a bunch of double decker bus tours of the sights and scenes of the city (that's what locals call Manhattan) and more. A tour of one loop will cost you $44 for an adult and $34 for a child but if you purchase your tickets online first, you save $5.

#NYC #Foodie Experiences -#GordonRamsay at The London NYC #TheLondonLadies

wine cooler
This past week was a bit of a blur for me with all the pre-BlogHer craziness. However, there was an afternoon where the world finally slowed down a bit and allowed me to relax. Honored to be a part of the #TheLondonLadies event, I found myself in the city, stepping into The London NYC on a scorching summer's day. The moment I stepped in, I felt as if I had been whisked off to a different place, a bit like Dorothy when she was swept up from Kansas. Greeted by our wonderful hostess, we were brought into the restaurant where special cold cocktails were served. For those of you who don't know, The London NYC is home to two of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants although, they're kind of in the same area. In the inner room is Gordon Ramsay at the London, the Michelin 2 star restaurant. The outer area serves as Maze by Gordon Ramsay, a more informal dining area. Both of these and the hotel's room service are served by menus overseen by Gordon Ramsay, who was last at the restaurant a week prior to concoct the new menu.

#NYC #Foodie Experiences -#Morimoto...a disappointment

Morimoto NYC
It's Restaurant Week here in NYC from Jul 16-Aug 10 and an awesome way to try out new restaurants if you're in the Big Apple. It'll cost you $24.07 for 3 course prix fixe lunches and $35 for dinner so not bad in terms of prices. Morimoto was a place I had been wanting to try out because of Iron Chef Morimoto. He's known for his amazing dishes so since I booked my reservation, I had been excitedly waiting for the day to arrive. Unfortunately, it sorely disappointed and I'll tell you why.

#NYC #Foodie Experiences -#Ippudo #Ramen

Mmm...ramen is definitely on my MUST Eat list when I go to Japan, but did you know there's several places famous for ramen in the Big Apple? If you're coming to visit New York City, there's a place where there is always a line-up! That place is Ippudo. Ippudo NYC has it's origins in Japan, where Shigemi Kawahara owns 43 shops. NYC is where Ippudo made it's first overseas debut. This is where my New Yorker friends have all told me I must go to try ramen. However, scared off by the 1.5hr+ wait times, I held off for a long time. You see, they don't take reservations and they don't do take outs. So you have to go and wait for your reservation and eat there. Still, it's always busy!

#NYC #Foodie Experiences -Peter Luger #Steakhouse #PeterLuger

NYC steakhouse
So, you're headed to New York for #BlogHer 12 or just to see the amazing Big Apple. You want to hit up all the great places to eat and well, I'm going to share some with you. Have you heard of Peter Lugers? No? Are you serious? It's only one of the best steakhouses in the US. It's even mentioned in the New York Times #1 Best Selling Book, 1000 Places to See Before You Die. They celebrated 125 years of tradition this year. When I say tradition, I mean tradition...they haven't changed their methods since they opened in 1887.  This is a must go to place if you proclaim yourself to be a foodie. Hell, even if you aren't a foodie, go try it out! It's been rated New York's #1 Steak House for 28 years in a row!
