Robots vs Aliens vs Nate!? US/CAN 12/26 #holidaygiftguide

Christmas Gift Ideas 2012
I know, I know, you want to give your kids a gift that'll not only be loved but is educational of sorts. I've got just the thing for you. 3 fun, interactive books that'll have them screaming for more. They're pretty neat, if I may say so myself. Ready?
Alien Anarchy, Robot Rumble, Big nate makes the grade
The first two books of Alien Anarchy ($16.95US/$19.50Cdn) and Robot Rumble ($16.95US/$19.50Cdn) are seriously fun. There's bios for the aliens and robots and then you punch out the paper and make them in 3D. Once that's done, you can use the cards to battle the robots or aliens with friends. Alien Anarchy features the aliens who have come to fight in the Alien Anarchy Battle Arena. This would make for a fun craft time with the kids as you press out and glue together 20 alien characters. 36 press-out game cards in the back of the book are your key to an epic battle.

Robot Rumble is much like Alien Anarchy, except it uses robots! Enter the town of Rumbletown where you'll meet a band of runaway robots trying to stay intact and escape disassembly.  Again, there are 20 robot characters and 36 press-out game cards to allow for 3D fun. This could make for some serious family fun!
interactive children's books
Then, when you're all tired out, pull out Big Nate Makes the Grade ($9.99US/$11.99Cdn)! This cartoon filled book of mischievous Nate is bound to crack you up. No matter what age they're at, even as adults, I'm sure we all remember the "joys" of homework and school. ;) This hilarious account of Nate's escapades in school! You'd be surprised. You may just end up "borrowing" this one from the kids.

I'm so proud to say that I love working with the people behind these books because again, they've been generous enough not only to run a giveaway for you but also, donate a set of all 3 books to the Pediatrics Hematology and Oncology unit. They were so pleased to get this, just in time for the holidays!
