#Supreme_Protein Carb Conscious Bars #Review #Toastto2012

More health and fitness aids! Are you excited? I'm determined to make those resolutions come true this year and I'm going to help you out too. Have you heard of Supreme Protein bars?  These are protein bars with 15g of high quality protein. How does this help? We know that protein is necessary to build muscle mass but did you know that higher protein intakes are associated with  helping to preserve muscle mass during weight loss and helping prevent muscle loss as we age?

So, the point is, although I'm trying to lose weight, but I want to lose my fat, not my muscle mass so these will come in handy for that purpose. We all want that sleek, toned look. Call me silly but I've always wanted a 6-pack...not a hardcore one but a nice, gently defined one. And you know, whenever I think of protein bars, I think ugh... I'm not sure why but I've associated bad tastes to protein bars. These may just be the bars to change that mentality, especially since they've won so many awards for their taste!

Supreme Protein sent me three flavors of their Carb Conscious Bars to try out and they included Peanut Butter Pretzel Twist, Caramel Nut Chocolate and Peanut Butter & Jelly. These bars varied from 200-210 calories per bar and contain 30% of your daily protein requirements in the form of whey isolate. Besides the 15g of protein, this 4 layer protein bar also contains various vitamins and minerals for added nutritional value.

Smooth, yet crunchy, they really did taste like candy bars. Caramel Nut Chocolate was my favorite! I was okay with the PB&J flavor which was kind of shocking for me since I'm not a big fan of PB&J. It was just a tad too sweet for me. Great for on the go and after work, they could be a good adjunct to your fitness goals. They taste like delicious candy but are rather nutritious. Did I mention that many famous MMA fighters, hockey players, football players, baseball/softball players and more use these bars too?

Buy ItShop online or in stores (CVS, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, GNC, and thousands of other retail locations.. and NOW Target!) for Supreme Protein Bars. Single bars are $1.75 and a 9-bar box retails for $17, currently on sale for $11.95.
