#Bacon Jam #Review

If you've ever read any of my posts, you'd have realized by now that we are a lot of bacon fans in this household. So of course, I'd be curious to try out Skillet's Bacon Jam. What? Jam + Bacon? How does that work?

A quick summary of their explanation really boils it down to a lot of bacon mixed with spices, onions, etc., all slowly simmered for 6 hours until it turns into a puree, then chill. LOL, let's just put it this way. They somehow melted the bacon down into yummy goodness!

You can use it for anything really. I tried some as a topping on top of my clam chowder and it was a nice blend of tastes that was pleasant on my palatte. The only thing I was unhappy about was being sent a sample size that would only last me the one-time use! However, this could be a great stocking stuffer for those bacon lovers out there!

For more information, send them a quick email (eat@skilletstreetfood.com).

Buy ItShop online or in stores for Skillet Bacon Jam ($14 for a 10 oz jar or 3 jars for $39.99).
