Spring is in the air! Okay, I know it's Spring already, but honestly, for us in the Midwest, we've still been getting snow and winter weather advisory so it's really hard to celebrate Spring right now. I would absolutely love a little more sunshine and a little less snow. Perfect in time to boost our moods is our friends from Nat Geo Kids with their Hop Into Spring Collection!

Though it hasn't quite warmed out in our part of the woods, Easter is here already. This means more time outdoors for our family. Sometimes, out on the golf course...other times, just on simple walks with our dogs. Lately though, we've had a lot more fun on our walks and when looking outside the window. "Why?", you ask. Well, it's simple really. We've expanded our home library with another fantastic collection of books from National Geographic Kids and have started birdwatching!

I love my sweets as much as anyone else but I admit, I'm a little bit of a hypocrite when it comes to my child. In a sense, having a child has curbed a lot of my bad eating habits. I tend to go for healthier options to try to set that good example to get them started on life in a healthy way. So, our Easter is typically less sweet-tooth oriented than it used to be. One of my absolute favorite go-to's are gifts that are both fun and educational if you've followed along the blog at all. Our proverbial Easter basket for our preschooler this year is sweet in a non-sugary way.

Easter gets me thinking about several things from my childhood. Well, chocolate eggs is an easy one, of course. My favorite were the Cadbury Mini Eggs. I still indulge in them now and again. When you think Easter, you also think of the Easter Bunny. However, there used to be a game my brother and I played when we were little.
