A Spectacular #Frankenweenie White Carpet Premiere #DisneyMoviesEvent

#DisneyMoviesEvent
What a night it was yesterday...wait, let's rewind a bit. Having started this past weekend on rough foot, I didn't think I'd make it 2497 miles/4010km to Hollywood, LA. A car accident on the freeway delayed traffic badly so the car ride to the airport gave me a heart attack. With the clock against me, the possibility of missing my flight was very real. I stepped into the airport at when my flight was supposed to board. Luckily, I had already checked in online and even luckier, I was able to find the short line at security. 10 minutes later, I was at my gate...safe!
Tim Burton Frankenweenie afterparty
Fast forward a day and I've arrived at the highly anticipated red carpet, or rather white carpet, premiere of Frankenweenie. That white carpet outside El Capitan Theater was so soft to step on. I was in my flats so it gave the feeling of walking on clouds. While walking the carpet, I spotted Winona Ryder, Martin Short (well, his back), and a bunch of other stars from the film. Oh, they even had a puppyrazzi section! Papi & Chloe from Beverly Hills Chihuahua showed up. Other stars present included Cassandra Peterson (better known as Elvira), Catherine O'Hara, David Arquette, Tom Kenny, Martin Landau, Robert Capron, Atticus Shaffer, Charlie Tahan and more. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to sight all of them but the fact that we were at such a star studded affair still amazes me. Shall we take a look at some pictures?

At the after party, the mastermind behind Frankenweenie, Tim Burton, was kind enough to answer a few questions about Sparky. One in which he confirmed that Sparky was based on his childhood dog, Peppy, in terms of his character and personality. Thanks to a few friends of mine, I was also able to have a very normal conversation with Tom Kenny and his wife. Tom Kenny is the voice actor for several characters in Frankenweenie but to many is known as the voice of Spongebob! I had no clue until someone told me partway through the conversation. They were so down to earth that it truly was enjoyable. Thank you #DisneyMoviesEvent and our fearless Disney rep for providing the chance for us to make so many lasting memories. Watch for more posts from our #DisneyMoviesEvent coming soon and don't forget to check out #Frankenweenie in theaters 10/05. It'll be electrifying!
