Ah, ever since I went to the red carpet premiere of Frankenweenie, I've wanted to get my hands on this! And I finally have, in 3D and BluRay! Did you go see it in theaters back in October? It's a heartwarming story about Victor Frankenstein and his dog, Sparky, in the town of New Holland. It's a story about the emotions one goes through when a loved pet passes and well, in Victor's case, he brings Sparky back to life through a science experiment!

The surprising talent behind #Frankenweenie #DisneyMoviesEvent

Before the #Frankenweenie premiere, we had the opportunity to interview the young men who voiced the roles of Bob (Robert Capron), Edgar "E" Gore (Atticus Shaffer), and Victor Frankenstein (Charlie Tahan). What struck me when they first sat down was how mature each one was. As the interview went on, I became more and more surprised at the professionalism and aspirations they showed at such young ages. Not only did I learn a lot about the film, I also learnt quite a bit about the amount of work that goes into making a stop motion animation.

What a night it was yesterday...wait, let's rewind a bit. Having started this past weekend on rough foot, I didn't think I'd make it 2497 miles/4010km to Hollywood, LA. A car accident on the freeway delayed traffic badly so the car ride to the airport gave me a heart attack. With the clock against me, the possibility of missing my flight was very real. I stepped into the airport at when my flight was supposed to board. Luckily, I had already checked in online and even luckier, I was able to find the short line at security. 10 minutes later, I was at my gate...safe!

Did you know Spooky Buddies was screened there last year and one of the pups was there? How cute! You all know I'm a dog lover...having two of my own fur babies so as a rule, I watch all dog-related movies. I know, I'm dog-crazy! I should've been a vet instead. My SO always laughs at me...kind of groans, because I'll make him watch all these movies just because they have dogs in them. Yes, I watched a lot of the Buddies movies, even the latest, Spooky Buddies. They were so cute! Anyhow, Frankenweenie has a new poster and it's pretty adorable so I thought I'd share it with you.
