#OldLondon #Snacks #Review

Ever crave for snacks? I do, on a regular basis, and I find it hard to resist reaching for those can of chips or those Cheetos. I have a super weakness for Cheetos. Once I grab a big bag, I can literally eat at least half of it...in one sitting. Then I get upset about it! LOL, so once in a while, its nice to have a healthy alternative to turn to instead. A snack that I won't feel guilty about.

I was sent several products from Old London to review. I received a couple of Roasted Garlic Melba Snacks, a Spicy Cheddar Bagel Chips, and Sesame Melba Toast. All of them had 0g of trans fat! Each serving is only 60-70 calories, which is pretty good if you compare them to a lot of other junk food snacks. Now, being low calories and low in fat, you'd think they'd be lacking flavor but you can cross that out of your mind. They tasted great and I enjoyed all of them. I loved the Bagel Chips because it had cheddar and I'm a cheese fan! My SO loves spicy things so he quite enjoyed them himself. I also enjoyed how Melba Snacks and Melba Toast were whole grain and each serving contained 5 g of whole grain in them. Tell me, how can I not love these snacks?

Oh, and if you want to make snack time more creative and even more yummy than it already is, go check out the recipes online. They're simple, quick and sadly, making me drool as I browse over them.

Oh yummy! I try to drink lots of fresh water throughout the day, and I feel like that makes my snacks a little healthier. Also, I try to watch my portion sizes.

When I had kids at home, or now when grand kids visit, I slice fruit or veggies and serve with peanut butter or cheese for a healthy snack. Now, when it's just Hubs and me at home, we do the same for snacks, but will have crackers with cheese and veggies for a light supper if we've eaten a large lunch.

I make my snack time healthier by always using natural sweetener like Honey. Or by using the natural sweet of fruit instead of sugar or anything artificial. :)

Old London Melba Toast is tasty, my mom used to buy it when I was kid and it's great with dips.
