With the June 11th release of Disney's OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL on Blu-ray Combo Pack nearing us, I've been seeing lots of commercials on TV. I keep thinking to myself, I must get a copy of that OST because the music in the background is just so whimsical and beautiful. Totally something I could sit back and enjoy a glass of red wine with while holding my pups. As if that's any different than any other day...they've currently taken control of my lap and left arm as I type. JR has decided to nest in my lap and BabyPom is doing his usual sleep on mommy's arm whilst standing.

Hello all! I'm still here in between finding places to live and moving. It's definitely a hectic time of year, because one of my loved conferences is coming up in just 9 days! This year, I must have some of the famed cheesecake I missed out on last year. So, there's a lot of catching up to do. Let's talk movies! Have you caught Iron Man 3 yet? I've been itching to go and it seems I'm not the only one! We may make it a family adventure and a well-deserved break!

So, Superbowl is coming up and it's that time of year where there's always a ton of commericials and rampant competition for which commercial triumphs over which. Just the other day when I was at the live taping of The View, they were discussing the racial ramifications of the new Volkswagen commercial. Serious things aside though, it's Friday, and we need to let loose. Here are some sure to be great commercials to watch for during this year's Superbowl. Besides the puppy commercials I so adore, I always enjoy my Disney goodies too!

Someone really ticked me off the other day...

So, I was really worked up the other day. The dogs were nervous in the crowds and someone decides to get into an argument right beside us. Seriously!? Was that the time? This tiny woman couldn't have been more than 5'2" yet she decided to get into an argument with someone twice her size by accusing him of "lying" about having nothing after Sandy. Really? After such a tragedy, I know there may be people trying to take advantage of others' kind hearts, but isn't it better to give them the benefit of the doubt? What if he actually had lost everything? What was the point in arguing? Anyways, it was just silly and they were intensifying and in effect, scaring my babies. I couldn't move, of course, because I was waiting for someone and the crowds had swarmed in on the action. I couldn't risk my babies getting hurt. At that point, the SO decided to take a picture of me. Um, ya, I was pissed. This is going to get ugly.

Didn't I tell you Disney was bringing all these old classics back? I have to wondering if there's some celebration or some meaning behind all of this. The latest one has to do with the Wizard of Oz! Disney is now coming out with the adventure "Oz The Great and Powerful" on March 8, 2013 directed by Sam Raimi that goes back to take a look at the origins of the oh so great, Wizard of Oz.
