The Langham Pasadena...the lap of luxury! #BHC3BloggerDay

Pasadena dog friendly hotel review
Have you been following the twitter stream #BHC3BloggerDay? You should have or you missed out on some gorgeous pictures and a fun and exciting event! When I was invited on Disney's Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3 Press Day, I was already too excited dreaming about the fun of the event that I never even realized the award-winning hotel we would be staying at was the actual filming site for the movie! A world of luxury and pampering awaited us at The Langham which not only made the 2012 list of Top Hotels in the U.S. (U.S. News & World Report) and 500 World's Best Hotels (Travel & Leisure), but also was the #1 Hotel in Los Angeles for 2011 (US News & World Report). It even has a top notch spa and restaurant! I tried to get Baby Pom to pose in front of The Langham in Pasadena, California so that we could make our own cover for the movie.

BabyPom: When we first arrived on the 23 acre property in San Marino, we were greeted by the staff who swooned over my gorgeousness, which some may compare to the gorgeous mountain backdrop. I think I have what it takes to become a star. Maybe JR and I can come and film our own version of Beverly Hills Chihuahua.

Now, now, Baby Pom, you're getting sidetracked. We were greeted by a gorgeous lobby with fresh flowers and a dangling chandelier. The staff was friendly and courteous and we were on our way to our room in no time.

BabyPom: Mommy, I think you got lost...The nice management took us up to our room and even brought us goodies! P.S. These were from Three Dogs Bakery at $4/piece.
California hotel review
True, true, they even brought us little snacks when we popped back in from our adventures. They were like mysterious little presents that popped up every time we made it back to our room. Our room was large, spacious, and welcoming. I was happy to see a good-sized desk that I could work off of. Since we were here to experience the new Langham Doggie Program, Baby Pom already had a soft bed just for him in the room.

After dropping our things off, we set out to explore the hotel. We wandered through and ventured through the gorgeous property which features restaurants, scenic gardens, a pool, tennis courts, and more. So much fun...the highlight of this trip though was definitely the Langham Doggie Program. BabyPom received special treats, an in-room doggie dining menu, and he even received a massage. Mommy didn't get a massage! However, the king sized bed in the room was so soft and comfortable. It kind of wraps around your body and makes you not want to wake up in the morning.
Pet friendly hotel review
BabyPom: Psst...I got Scrappy's steak and eggs ($24 -Petite filet mignon, served with two scrambled eggs) for breakfast! Steak and eggs! Twice although the second time looked different from the first time. I also had the Bowser burger ($12 -All-beef burger meat served with raw carrots and snap peas) for dinner one night. All of these can be ordered from the in-room Doggie Dining menu. This hotel is awesome. I could live here. Are they hiring a spokesperson? Ahh...this is the life, I had a Doggie Spa Massage done! All my buddies were getting their massages and it was so hard waiting for my turn but I have to tell you, it was well worth the wait. Life was awesome even when Mommy abandoned me to go for High Tea with her blogger friends.

Baby, High Tea was not to be missed. I was told The Langham is known for their High Tea and we found out why. The Vanilla Bean tea we had was absolutely perfect. The delicacies we were treated to tantalized our taste buds. I had never though High Tea would be filling but we were stuffed and couldn't finish. If you ever visit, you'll want to visit the Lobby Lounge for High Tea and gorgeous views.

Overall, our stay was wonderful. The staff was always kind, courteous and amicable. They've always been pet friendly, however, the Langham Doggie program is all new. It's always so hard to find pet-friendly properties during family vacations and I am so glad to have found such a luxurious resort-like hotel to pamper both me and my fur babies. I'm pretty sure they have no objections either.
