#FunBites #Review -Making #healthy #food fun!

Fun Bites Review

Is your child picky about his or her food? Why not try a new spin on things and make their food fun? Fun Bites came up with a really good idea!
Fun Bites is this adorable invention that allows you to cut any kids food into bite sized fun shapes! You should cross out the kids food because well I'm not a kid anymore and I'm still in love with this. Its just plain fun!

It was featured on Parenting.com and CBS Morning news as the thing to get if you have kids and suggested for kids ages 2-8 on foods like waffles, grilled cheese, veggies, brownies... And you know what? I think this is a great way to get kids to eat their fruits and veggies! If they're in fun, adorable looking bite-sized pieces, who can resist them?

They come in two patterns: Cube it which cuts food into 12 squares and Luv it which creates heart shapes out of 10 geometric shapes. I received the Luv it to review and althought it's a big heart shape, there are also triangular shapes within the figure so you don't necessarily have to make just hearts with it. Each pack includes it's own cutter with and a matching popper that pops out the pieces. This is a nice feature so you don't have to worry about food being stuck in the cutter or using your hands to push the pieces out. They do recommend rocking the cutter 5-6 times to cut through the food.
Fun with Food
Fun Bites are BPA free and can be hand washed or put in the top-shelf of the dishwasher. So I tried them out on our Nutrisystem pancakes the other day and they're cute! I had to rock it slightly more than 5-6 times but I think I may have stacked too many pancakes on each other. The bottom layer actually looked the best but the SO ate that up before I could snap another picture! The food did stick a little in the cutter afterwards but rinsed off rather easily. Overall, a pretty neat idea but I would be cautious with attempting to cut through too many layers of food.
