ABC is home to many great shows including one of my all time favorites, Modern Family. After being at the live taping of the View when Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn were on and listening to all the gossip about Scandal, I added that to my must watch list. That isn't the only one though. I've been wanting to watch Once Upon a Time...for a long long time now. I'm addicted to the historical romanticization kind of stuff and my husband never fails to poke a little fun at it.

Private Practice is about to release their 6th and final season DVDs!

Alright, ever since I saw Kadee Strickland live on The View the other day, I've been wondering about Private Practice. Who's a fan of it? Wow, I didn't even know it had 6 seasons and now I want to watch it bad! The complete 6th season and the series finale is coming out on DVD soon!

Flying Slug fighters? What? #Slugterra!

LOL, I just watched this clip of Slugterra. Little cute slugs that when shot are used to battle? At least that's what I got from it. Sounds interesting though, right? Any Slugterrra fans out there who can't wait to get their hands on Slugterra: Return of the Shane Gang? It's about to arrive Feb 12 on DVD.

Sofia the First to debut at #Disney Parks

Disney Junior fans! Did you know Sofia The First will be making her Disney Parks debut in the 29th Annual "Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade?" You can watch it on TV nationwide Christmas Day, from 10AM to 12PM EST. It'll be on the ABC Television Network.

Children's CD Review: 'Flying!' with Recess Monkey

I love the cover of this CD, its so cute but still definitely cool with its super-hero feel! 'Flying' is Recess Monkey's seventh studio CD for children ages 3-8, with a run time of 47 minutes. The three inspirations behind Recess Monkey are elementary school teachers (Jack Forman, Daron Henry and Drew Holloway) who met while working at the same Seattle school and brought their real life children's experiences into musical compilations. 



While ditching their day jobs, they transformed into Super Cheese (Drew Holloway), Professor Pinstripe (Daron Henry) and Mustachio (Jack Forman) to create this super CD, made just for the little super heroes in our lives. While listening to this CD, I found myself tapping my feet along with the first song and bopping to the following tunes. Definitely catchy and down to earth, it makes you imagine what its like to be a superhero on the playground and picks your mood up, even if you were happy to begin with.  What kid doesn't love superheroes?! No matter the generation, we always love our superhero movies and wished that we could be a superhero ourselves. So, this CD caters so well to that genre that I'm sure kids will love it!


Recess Monkey's last CD, 'The Final Funktier' was on the "Best of 2010" lists by amazon.com, Parents Magazine, The Washington Post, Time Out NY Kids, and so many more and I can't imagine why not, this CD was absolutely awesome! To be released June 21, I am so glad I was able to get my hands on it to review it first. I absolutely love it and think its something that fans of Recess Monkey should look forward to.
