Monster High has a new spook-tacular transformation in a fun, addictive new series out now in DVD with the First Season. The good old familliar characters Draculaura, Clawdeen Woof, Frankie Stein, and more are back with a fresh new makeover for both their magical school and them.

Synopsis:
Teenager Clawdeen Wolf never felt like she fit in – until her instincts led her to Monster High, where she discovered that she’s a werewolf and a human, and now feels at home in both worlds. Along with Draculaura (a vampire who wants to forge her own path as a witch), Frankie (a Frankenstein monster who is figuring out how their pieces fit together), Deuce (the son of Medusa, who’s rebelling by being nice), and a school full of modern monster characters, Clawdeen is going to sink her fangs into high school hijinks and teenage troubles that will have everyone howling.

It's so nice to see an updated version of Monster High and the new magical school. It's a fun refresh on old favorites and more intune with our kids.

Check out the trailer:
I had meant to turn Monster High on for my kindergartener to see his thoughts on this series but my gosh, I got a bit sucked in myself. Food Fight was quite fun to watch and when I needed to get up to get some things done, I had a hard time pausing the episode. It's quite cute and Tater Tyke being as naughty as it is was adorable to watch. At the end of the day though, the lessons for the kiddos watching include important self-love lessons about how they can be more than one thing...that they don't have to fit into the "perfect" stereotype and still have friends that support them for being themselves. These, I feel, are super lessons in life for our kids especially in this day and age.
