Be #Divergent... @AnselElgort & @VeronicaRoth interviews on the #DivergentMOA red carpet & a #review

Wow...when I headed to the red carpet premiere of Divergent at Minneapolis' Mall of America, I certainly did not expect the craziness that would ensue. The energy was phenomenal and not one that I would've expected. I'm used to the craziness in LA during other red carpet premiere's, however the scene in Minneapolis is not one to be doubted. Or maybe it was the strong support Divergent had already amassed. Never underestimate the vocal fan power of teenage girls.

I was lucky enough to have an interview with Vince Vaughn again but I never thought that I'd be lucky enough to interview Cobie Smulders (Emma, David's pregnant girlfriend) again too. This time though, there was a new guest in the form of Chris Pratt who plays David's best friend/lawyer in Delivery Man, Brett.

How to Draw Dusty from #DisneyPlanes & #DisneyPlanesBloggers chat with #Disney artists

The life of a Disney story artist is definitely more complicated than it appears. That's what I learnt when I met with Dan Abraham (head of story/art) and Art Hernandez (lead storyboard artist) for Disney Planes. It all started over 2 years ago when they finally received the story that Klay wanted it to be at.

Many of you are Vince Vaughn fans. I've always found his movies funny to watch. Can you guess what's coming up? Yes, it's my Vince Vaughn interview! I'm one lucky blogger to have met Vince for the second time now. The first was when I visited the Delivery Man set in New York and watched Vince and Cobie film one of their scenes. I had the opportunity then to interview Vince Vaughn, Cobie Smulders, and Ken Scott.

This was somewhat of a surprise character because you really couldn't recognize Zachary Levi in this role. Most were shocked when they realized he played Fandral since he simply looked so different! Plus it was different from his usual geeky roles.

Another lovely treat during our #DisneyPlanesBloggers press day included an interview with director Klay Hall and producer Traci Balthazor-Flynn. These two are responsible for much of what transpired behind the scenes for Planes, on DVD 11/19/2013.

Strong, beautiful & a hell of a warrior - @JaimieAlexander as Sif #ThorDarkWorldEvent #ThorDarkWorld

During our #ThorDarkWorldEvent, I also had the opportunity to interview Jaimie Alexander (Sif), the lone female warrior in the movie. That to me is H-O-T. As you know, I love strong women. Great female characters that promote independence and strength and hey, they can still look gorgeous too. Apparently, she also quite likes the role.

Delivery Man Movie, Dreamworks
Just so you know, Director Ken Scott had thought Vince Vaughn was perfect for that character. For you Vince Vaughn fans, you’ll be happy to know that he’s in every scene. Some of you had asked me if he was as funny in real life as he was on the movies. What do you think?

#DeliveryManMovie
I’ll admit, it was pretty cool to interview Cobie Smulders, a fellow Canadian, during DreamWorks’ #DeliveryManMovie set visit. I had always enjoyed her humor and we’ve always watched How I Met Your Mother. This woman has a sense of humor. If even she says, “It’s a funny movie.”, you can bet it’s going to be a great comedy!

Dreamworks Delivery Man Movie Set Visit, Interview with Director Ken Scott
Did you know that the #DeliveryManMovie is actually a remake. Starbuck is the French Canadian version of the film that was released in 2011. Interestingly, the director then was also Ken Scott. So when Ken Scott came to meet us, I had a burning question in my mind.

An appointment with John Darling (Paul Collins) #PeterPanDiamond

#PeterPanDiamond
I had the utmost honor the other night of interviewing one of the characters from Disney's classic, Peter Pan! Disney just released Peter Pan Diamond edition February 5th. The day before the release, I was graced by the presence of Mr. and Mrs. John Darling, otherwise known as Paul and Ellen Collins. What really tickled me was their friendly and personable nature. Ellen had told me as she woke up that morning, she said, "Oh, I'm Mrs. John Darling today." Isn't that just absolutely adorable?

A chat with #Paperman producer Kristina Reed #DisneyMoviesEvent

Paperman producer interview
Paperman is a black and white love story short featuring "George and Meg" that will be appearing in front of Wreck-It Ralph 11/02. This was the second time I had seen the short and let me tell you, it was still able to draw feelings out of me like it was the first time. We were lucky enough to be able to interview the producer, Kristina Reed. Kristina not only showed us a bit of how the short was created but also answered many of our curious questions...

Digging into the minds of the people behind #WreckItRalph #DisneyMoviesEvent

Disney poster
I knew Wreck-It Ralph was going to be a great film the first time I saw the trailer. After our interview with director, Rich Moore, and producer, Clark Spencer, I came to have a greater appreciation of the work that goes into each animated film. The question on the top of my mind, of course, was how they came up for the idea for the film. Disney always seems to come up with these amazing ideas that get turned into film and they make it look easy.

I want to be a part of the #DisneyFairies too! #DisneyMoviesEvent

Peggy Holmes Interview, Secret of the WIngs
Okay, I have never really been a girly girl. I have the girly things I like but I have always loved a strong woman who could take care of herself. When I was getting ready to watch Secret of the Wings, the newest addition to the #DisneyFairies collection, I wasn't quite sure what I was in for. At that point, I was also in total shock that John Lasseter actually came to see us prior to the movie screening. How awesome is that? If only I hadn't already handed over my phone...I would've loved a picture. Then Peggy Holmes (Director) came in and said her opening speech and I found myself looking forward to watching Secret of the Wings.

#WordlessWednesday: #Frankenweenie-fy your pets! #DisneyMoviesEvent

Frankenweenie
Have you checked out #Frankenweenie yet? It just came out this past weekend!! I just can't seem to stop talking about because it is just so fun! Disney's also been keeping me busy with all the awesome Frankenweenie activities they have. For this week's Wordless Wednesday, I present to you...Frankenweenie-fy your pet! I put BabyPom and JR through the Frankenweenie process and well, they still look pretty adorable after the process. Ready? When babies attack...

The surprising talent behind #Frankenweenie #DisneyMoviesEvent

Frankenweenie
Before the #Frankenweenie premiere, we had the opportunity to interview the young men who voiced the roles of Bob (Robert Capron), Edgar "E" Gore (Atticus Shaffer), and Victor Frankenstein (Charlie Tahan). What struck me when they first sat down was how mature each one was. As the interview went on, I became more and more surprised at the professionalism and aspirations they showed at such young ages. Not only did I learn a lot about the film, I also learnt quite a bit about the amount of work that goes into making a stop motion animation.

An exclusive interview with Papi & Chloe #BHC3BloggerDay

Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3 party
So, as you know, we had a chance to visit with Papi and Chloe of Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3 recently in Pasadena, California. Have you ever wanted to delve into the minds of these tail-wagging stars? They were recently seen with Giggy Vanderpump, the Real Housedog of Beverly Hills, having tea at owner Lisa Vanderpump's Villa Blanca! How cute?! This fun gathering was an impromptu get-together to celebrate the release of BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHUA 3, VIVA LA FIESTA! Let's watch a quick clip with the cute pups in commemoration of such an adorable get together!

Jada Pinkett Smith & #Madagascar3: Europe's Most Wanted #Review #CapriSunSuperV #JadaPSmith

Madagascar 3 Screening
The other day, I had a blast in the city thanks to the #Mamarazzi event held by The Moms, #CapriSunSuperV, and Paramount! A bunch of bloggers were able to watch the screening of Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted in Times Square. This was almost magical. Greeted warmly by the rainbow afro-wearing greeter and a pouch of Capri Sun's new Super V juice that contains 1 combined serving of fruits and vegetables, I walked into this event feeling like I had arrived at a magical place! Once I got inside, the decor took me to heart of tropical Madagascar with the colorful displays and decorations. Oh, and did I mention New York Cake Pops? You know, I see cake pops in Starbucks all the time but I never get them. They really were a nice treat. There were even light appetizers from Dogmatic restaurants.
