We often know and say what our #TruLoveIs. However, what about our pets? What do you suppose their True Love is? For JR, I long realized that she was a glutton and loved to eat. It didn't really hit me until I weighed her the other night and realized she is now 6lbs overweight, from being a mere 3lbs overweight! It doesn't sound like a lot but when you're only supposed to be 15lbs, 6 is almost 1/3 of it! BabyPom, on the other hand, loves the outdoors and running outside. Seeing all of this, it was time to go on an adventure and find more true loves for JR.

In all of the years that we've had JR and BabyPom, we've never actually taken them to the groomers. I do most of the washing and grooming on my own though I sometimes am able to coerce the husband to help shower the pups. Dog grooming is difficult, mind you, and with JR and BabyPom's different fur consistencies and styles, it can be difficult. I've given BabyPom an awfully ugly trim before and yep, no one could recognize that he was a Pom. Well, that was a long time ago. Now I'd like to believe that I give him pretty good trims, including the lion cut I attempted about a month back. I've tried all sorts of pet grooming products and the latest ones we're putting to the test is CHI® for Dogs salon quality products that are exclusively available at PetSmart.

JR & BabyPom: It's almost Valentine's Day! It's here in just a little over a week. Are you ready? Mommy says we've got the "love bug". Is it because we wouldn't let her take proper pictures of our new toys? We really jumped at the new toys from PetSmart's Valentine's line.

JR: I had a crate from the day Mommy first picked me up and I've been sharing with BabyPom as well. It's time he got his own crate. Luckily, PetSmart was kind enough to send us Nature's Miracle Advanced Pet Suite with Antimicrobial Product Protection. That sounds fancier than anything I ever had! It's super portable and easy to assemble and take apart. Mom had it done in about a minute. Mommy thinks they sent her Chance but secretly, I think it's for me!
