Okay, I know it's Spring already, but honestly, for us in the Midwest, we've still been getting snow and winter weather advisory so it's really hard to celebrate Spring right now. Though we enjoy the occasional silly read, most of the books I choose for my child are filled with subtle learning messages that not only teach my child facts but also hopefully, how to navigate his feelings and social growth as a person. I would love for him to grow up happy, healthy and strong but just as important is my wish that he grows up as a kind and caring person. Given my love for lists and tips, this list is a little out of the ordinary. This Spring, I've developed a love of 5 completely random things. Some of it has to do with the random chilly bursts we've been having amongst the much welcomed warmer weather. Other just has to do with a resolution to myself to create time out of my limited time for some self love and a commitment to fitness. The days are starting earlier and brighter. The glow of the emerging sun as I leave for work in the mornings fills me with warmth and acts as a gentle reminder that winter is almost over. It's that time of year to shift my wardrobe into something more fitting. No more Michelin man outfits!
