Nutella is one of everyone's favourite spreads. Sometimes, I enjoy indulging in a simple treat of hazelnut chocolate sweetness. That's how this cookie recipe came to be. You'd be surprised at how quickly and easily these turned out. All you need is 6 simple ingredients. In efforts to make this delectable treat just a tad healthier and weigh a little less on my health conscience, I utilized Country Crock Light as a healthy substitute. It takes just as good with less calories!

OH MY GOSH! Who loves chocolate? You're going to love this! When I was sent some of Wonka's Exceptionals Chocolate to try out, I melted when I opened my box of chocolates! In it contained some nommy flavors. There were 2 new flavors which included Triple Dazzle Caramel (milk chocolate filled with luscious caramel, dazzled with sea salt) and Fantabulous Fudge (milk chocolate stuffed with fudge). I also received Chocolate Waterfall (milk and white chocolate) and Scrumdiddlyumptious (chunks of toffee, crispies and peanuts in rich milk chocolate) to review.

A Sweetly Delicious Contest -The Caramilk Secret

Caramilk is having a Quest for the Golden Key contest that really reminds me of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory...there are 10 golden keys hidden within specially marked 52g Caramilk bars in Canada.  You have until August 22, 2010 to find and redeem a key. This is actually pretty hard because the odds are 1 out of 1 497 600! I decided to try my luck anyways because you could have in your hands the key to the Caramilk Secret! Unfortunately, I was not lucky enough to find a golden key. The good news right now though, is that all 10 keys remain to be found! So try your hand at it; this is definitely a sweet prize!


The 10 prizes available to be won as quoted from the Caramilk site include 3 parts:

A) A trip prize (the "Trip Prize") for two (2), in or around fall 2010, to Toronto for the winner and a guest to attend the Caramilk* "Secret" Vault Unlocking Ceremony (the "Ceremony") at the Cadbury plant (the "Trip"); and 

B) A choice of one of two Caramilk* prize options (the "Caramilk* Prize"), as described below; and, 

C) A chance to win the $250,000 grand prize (the "Grand Prize") as described below. 

The total approximate retail value of the Prize for each Finalist is $12,316.25 (based on a sample Halifax departure). 

A) The Trip Prize: The Trip Prize consists of round trip economy air transportation (if necessary), for the winner and his/her guest, from the commercial airport nearest the winner's residence to the commercial airport closest to the Ceremony (in the case where the closest commercial airport to the Ceremony is the closest commercial airport to the winner's residence, the Trip Prize will include return ground transportation between winner's residence and hotel (and no further compensation to that winner)); two nights standard hotel accommodation (double occupancy) for two (2); two (2) full breakfasts for two at the hotel, ground transportation for two (2) between the hotel and the Ceremony; and $290 spending money. Approximate value of Trip Prize is $2,370, based on a sample Halifax departure. Actual value will vary depending on location of winner's residence. No compensation will be awarded should actual value differ from value as stated in these Contest rules. 

B) The Caramilk* Prize: Each Finalist will also be able to select their choice of one of the following two Caramilk* Prize options: (a) Three hundred and sixty-five (365) Cadbury* Caramilk* bars, with a net weight of fifty-two (52) grams each, per calendar year for a period of twenty-five (25) years (current total approximate retail value of the bars is $9,946.25); OR (b) a cheque payable to the Finalist in the amount of $9,946.25. 

C) Grand Prize - Phase 1: At the Ceremony, each of the Prize winners in attendance (the "Finalists") will have the opportunity to select a new key (the "Key"). Note that Winning Keys used to redeem the Prize cannot be used for this portion of the Contest. The order of selection by the Finalists of a Key will be based on a random draw. Each Finalist will then have a chance to try their Key in the Caramilk* "Secret" Vault. The Finalist whose Key opens the Vault will receive a cheque for $125,000 and a sealed copy of the Caramilk* "Secret" (the latter to be returned to the Contest Sponsor six months after the Ceremony as described below). 

Grand Prize - Phase 2: Six months after the Ceremony, the Grand Prize winner will have the chance to win an additional $125,000. At a pre-determined time the Grand Prize winner will be required to return the still-sealed copy of the Caramilk* "Secret". Upon inspection of the sealed envelope by the Contest judging authorities to ensure the Caramilk* "Secret" envelope has not been opened, tampered with, damaged, or destroyed, the Grand Prize winner will be awarded $125,000, payable by cheque. Decision of the Contest judging authorities are final and binding in this regard.
